Buddha Park

Buddha Park is a landscaped memorial park in Shrawasti built around a large statue of the Buddha, designed as a calm space for reflection and prayer rather than a historical ruin like the nearby monastery sites. Manicured lawns, walking paths, and seating areas make it an easy, relaxed stop after the more archaeologically dense sites in the area.

The park is popular with both pilgrims looking for a quiet place to meditate and families looking for a pleasant break during a day of temple-hopping. In the late afternoon, the lawns fill with a mix of local visitors and travellers, and the statue is particularly striking around sunset.

It's a good final stop after Jetavana Monastery and the nearby stupas, rounding off a Shrawasti visit on a peaceful note.
